Robotic surgery

Surgeons use the da Vinci® Surgical System at Mercy Hospital for selected cardiovascular procedures. The advanced technology allows physicians to operate less invasively than with traditional surgical methods. Because the incisions are smaller, patients have less pain and recover faster.

  • Benefits for patients
  • Less pain
  • Less blood loss
  • Less risk of infection
  • Shorter hospital stay
  • Less scarring
  • Faster recovery
