Emergency Services

Mercy Hospital is equipped to provide emergency medical and trauma services for patients in the Northwest Metro 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Staffed by board-certified emergency physicians and trauma surgeons, Mercy's Emergency Department includes trauma stabilization rooms, specialized rooms for pediatrics, cardiac, orthopedics and gynecology. Families of trauma and critical care patients can remain close by in privacy areas.

Mercy works closely with Allina Medical Transporation, EMS services and area first responders. A helicopter landing pad allows Mercy to receive emergency patients by air or transport patients on for specialty care, such as to a Burn Center.
